PROJECT SOLUTION

To tackle the challenges, we built the system using Raspberry Pi as the central controller and Python as the primary programming language. All gas sensors were carefully connected through GPIO and other supported interfaces, followed by extensive calibration to ensure accuracy. The software was designed to process and display real-time gas data efficiently, both on a physical touchscreen and within the internal system logic. Special attention was given to developing a clean and focused UI suitable for embedded environments.The codebase includes mechanisms for handling sensor errors, connection failures, and data inconsistencies. Real-time checks and thresholds help ensure safety and data reliability. Hardware interfacing was optimized to reduce noise and wiring complexity, as visible in the hardware layout. Additionally, the system was made scalable, enabling the integration of future sensors or display modules with minimal changes. Overall, this solution balances precision engineering and real-time visibility for industrial gas monitoring.
